Humboldt can coordinate short- or long-term storage as part of your move—from pickup through final delivery. Climate-controlled storage is available in Redding, Crescent City, Eureka, Reno/Sparks and Modesto, and through Locatelli in Santa Cruz.
Storage details
There is no minimum storage term. Access requires 24 hours’ notice. Your team will explain space availability and the charges for your arrangement.

Humboldt serves customers across Northern California, Northern Nevada and Southern Oregon, with nationwide and international moving capabilities. Medford, Grants Pass, Klamath Falls and Ashland in Southern Oregon are served through our Redding office. Contact the team to discuss your route and the services you need.
Does Humboldt handle local and long-distance moves?
Humboldt provides interstate, long-distance and international moving through all offices. Local moving is available from its California markets but is not offered from Reno / Sparks. Intrastate moving is available through California markets.
How do I request a moving estimate?
Share your move or storage needs through the free-estimate form. A salesperson for your market will call to arrange an in-home or virtual estimate, according to your preference.
How far in advance should I schedule my move?
Scheduling needs vary by the move, market, and time of year. Contact the appropriate local team to confirm current availability and recommended timing.
Does Humboldt offer packing and unpacking?
Yes. Choose packing, unpacking, materials, custom crating, and loading or unloading help. Unpacking includes placing items on counters and tables and removing boxes and packing paper; it does not include putting belongings away.
Can Humboldt arrange storage with my move?
