Boxes and protective materials
Buy boxes and packing materials at Humboldt offices during business hours, even if you are moving yourself. Ask about wardrobe boxes, dish-pack cartons, mirror/picture cartons and protective wrapping. See the purchase FAQ below for Chico and affiliated locations.
Fragile and specialty items
Humboldt handles specialty items such as pianos, safes, artwork, and high-value belongings, subject to item-specific assessment. Share photos and dimensions so the team can assess preparation needs.
Custom crating
Humboldt offers custom crating for selected items that need tailored preparation. Suitability and scope are assessed for the individual item and move.
Unpacking support
Our unpacking service places belongings on counters and tables and includes removal of boxes and packing paper. It does not include putting items away in cupboards or drawers. Include unpacking in your requested services.

Can I pack some belongings myself?
Yes. Full and partial packing options let you discuss a division of the work that fits your move. Agree which items you will prepare and which the team will handle.
Can I get help with fragile items only?
Selected-item packing can be discussed as part of your move. Identify the items early so the team can assess appropriate materials, preparation, and any crating needs.
Are packing materials included?
That depends on the agreed services. Ask your team to identify which materials and packing labor are included in the estimate and which would be separate.
Can I obtain packing materials without booking packing labor?
Yes. Buy boxes and packing materials in person at Humboldt offices during business hours, without booking a move or packing labor. Chico customers can visit the Redding office. Milpitas is appointment-only; contact affiliated operations directly about their supplies and pickup arrangements.
Will the team unpack at my destination?
